Miziwe biik Down Payment Program Helps the Aboriginal Community!

Miziwe Biik is a registered charity providing services for the Aboriginal community in Toronto.  While the focus of the organization is on employment and training services, their vision is to promote equality and self-reliance, and to help the community to attain a better quality of life.  As part of this vision, Miziwe Biik has a down payment loan program.

How it works

The program offers down payment loans to eligible Aboriginal (Status and Non-Status), Metis, and Inuit persons to assist with the purchase of a home in the GTA.  Applicants don’t need to be first-time buyers, but the criteria does state the applicant may not have an interest in or be on the title of another off-reserve property.

How to get involved

The program ends December 31, 2011!  Contact Miziwe Biik via www.miziwebiik.com for more info.
