A Look at the Design of Scarborough’s Love Condos

Love Condos is located adjacent to the Tam O’Shanter Golf Course in Scarborough Ontario. The building is designed by acclaimed Turner Fleischer Architects Inc. which have designed a building with a sophisticated exterior along with playful elements that make the building standout. Upper-floor balconies and outdoor areas are curved to give the building a geometrically modern shape; also Let natural light, light up your rooms with window walls all around the units.

According to Peter Turner, partner at the award-winning architectural practice, “the community includes two towers, a stand alone amenity building with a pool and exercise areas, lounge area and landscaped green roof and a collection of townhouses, all surrounded by lush landscaping. The exterior of the 20-storey first tower is a mixture of glass window wall and metal panels, with the townhouses having a finer grained brick to make them more street friendly.”

“The open central landscaped courtyard is designed to enhance the pedestrian friendly neighbourhood and provide immediate access to the adjacent library, shopping centre and transit routes,” he continues.
