Now this was a story we just had to post. According to CTV news, a GTA real estate agent has been arrested for using her job to grow marijuana. 46-year-old Jennifer Wu is accused of using her job to gain rental properties all around Greater Toronto Area, and then using them to grow cannabis. Investigators have linked her to 55 marijuana growth operations, including over 30,000 plants. Upon being discovered back in 2006, she skipped her trial in Newmarket and fled to Romania. She had been operating a daycare there but was recently located by the police along with the help of the Canadian Department of Justice and the Romanian Authorities. She is now in police custody in Toronto awaiting trial. She is charged with production of controlled substances, possession for the purpose of trafficking, tax evasion, and failing to appear. She was to appear in court yesterday.
